The Palmetto Historical Park and Manatee County Agricultural Museum are hosting the “Legacy of Valor Veteran’s Art Exhibit” through April 19th. The exhibit will open with a reception on March 7th, 5:30 to 7:30 pm. The exhibit features work by local veterans as well as veterans across the country. Their work includes paintings, sculpture, and photography.

Acrylic painting, “Happy Times” by Veteran Greg Pitts from Weston, FL is one of the pieces in the Legacy of Valor Veteran’s Art Exhibit.

This exhibit is part of the Park and Museum’s partnership with Legacy of Valor, a local campaign that rallies our community to honor veterans, inspire patriotism, and pass freedom on to others. A mosaic of community-driven partnerships will educate and focus the community to use time, talent and treasure to recognize the service and sacrifice of all veterans and their families.
