Palmetto Historical Park and Manatee County Agricultural Museum will be celebrating Halloween on Saturday, October 17th, from 4:00 – 8:30 pm. There will be trick-or-treating, crafts, games, face painting, and lots of other spooky happenings. While in the park, visit The Magic School Bus and the Happy Haunted Library. There will be a costume contest that will take place at 6:00 pm. Fabulous Fatimir will be telling fortunes. The Bag o’ Bones Tat Shack will be tatting up visitors.

The Dead End Cemetery is always a favorite at the Halloween Social.

Decorated buildings in the park will be sponsored by the Ellenton-Parrish Lions Club, the North Manatee Kiwanis Club and the Manatee Riverside Rotary Club. Demetrio’s will be selling $2 pizza and drinks and Alex’s Lemonade Stand will be raising funds for childhood cancer research. This family event is FREE, but donations are accepted!
