Local Cattlemen Appointed to Farm Credit of Florida Board of Directors
Morriston- Local Cattlemen and Veterinarian, Dr. Harrell H. Phillips, Jr. has been appointed to join the Farm Credit of Florida Board of Directors. Farm Credit of Florida directors are elected and appointed from our agricultural community because no one is better suited to put local farmers first when establishing policies, providing strategic direction, and overseeing all major Farm Credit of Florida functions.
Dr. Phillips brings a vast array of agricultural expertise to the Farm Credit of Florida Board of Directors. In addition to his 28 years of veterinarian experience Dr. Phillips also owns and operates Phillips Ranch- a ranching and background/stocker operation of almost 1200 breeding age beef cattle and background approximately 1500 calves annually. The ranch also produces hay, sod, grass seed, small grains and timber.
